Any Shape Size Paper Die-Cut

Important Artwork Notice!
Custom Any Shape File Guidelines: A Custom Shape File must be created as a vector and saved as either an EPS or PDF. Custom Shape File must represent the cut line. Custom Shape File must be only in 100% black, either 0.5pt or 1pt thick. Thin lines and small shapes are not recommended for custom-shaped projects. Bleed for the Custom Shaped Die-Cut projects must be 0.125" from the cut line on all sides. Choose the size that best fits your needs and upload the CMYK file(s) as well as the Cut Shape File.
How to Pick the Right Size for Your Project: You must select the available size that fits both dimensions of your any shape project. If your project is 2.75" X 3.5", the correct size to select is 4" x 4"; it's the smallest available size that will allow us to fit and cut your print job to size comfortably, without losing design details, quality or surface space.

Print a Shape, Not a Rectangle
Where a standard print stops at four straight edges, this one cuts to whatever outline you draw, so a single piece becomes a badge, a hang tag, a logo silhouette, a bottle or a leaf. On a die-cut piece the outline is part of the design, so people read the shape before the words. Shaped cards, postcards and flyers built for one format are in the custom shape die-cut printing collection.
100 pieces cost only $4 more than 50, and 300 cost $113, so a full box for a launch or a retail rollout costs far less per piece than a small test batch.
What Is Any Shape Size Paper Die-Cut
It is a custom-cut paper print: you supply the outline and each piece is trimmed to that shape. People reach for it when a standard rectangle would blend in, from shaped business cards and hang tags to shelf talkers, packaging inserts, coasters, door hangers, table tents, event badges and promotional cutouts. If the shape belongs on a specific format, the Die-Cut Any Shape Business Cards and Die-Cut Any Shape Postcards cover cards and mailers, while this product handles any freeform outline.
Commercial Die Cutting Is Not Craft Die Cutting
A craft die is a reusable shape you buy off a shelf, a star or a heart, pressed by hand at home a few pieces at a time. Here the outline comes from your own artwork, so no shelf shape has to be compromised into, and it runs with the printing, in full color, from 50 pieces up to 100,000. That is why the cut file matters: it is the outline that gets made.
What Shape and Size Should You Choose
Pick the smallest preset size that fits both dimensions of your shape: a 2.75" x 3.5" design goes on the 4" x 4" size, so it cuts cleanly without losing detail. The sizes run from a pocket tag at 2" x 2" to a table sign at 11" x 11". For a shaped flyer, the Die-Cut Flyers are a ready format, and the Die-Cut Hangtags handle shaped tags out of the box.
Pick a material that fits the job
The default 14pt Gloss Cover keeps a shape clean and affordable, while heavier cover, kraft and linen add weight and texture, and metallic pearl adds a shimmer. For pieces that need to survive, there is synthetic plastic and rigid PVC; the adhesive label stock and the 17pt indoor magnet turn a shape into a sticker or a fridge piece. For an outline on adhesive stock only, the Die-Cut Stickers and Die-Cut Labels are built for it.
Send the right files
Upload your CMYK artwork plus a separate cut file: a vector EPS or PDF of the cut line in 100% black at 0.5pt or 1pt, with 0.125" of bleed past the line on every side. Thin lines and small shapes do not cut well. Choose a proof so the cut is confirmed before production: a free online proof, a printed hardcopy, or a hardcopy die-cut to size.
How Much Does Die-Cut Paper Cost
A run of 800 is $166 and 7,000 run $648. The Complex Shape, a hardcopy proof and a faster speed add to the total. The slider below covers the first six tiers, from 50 to 500 pieces.
Wally cuts your paper to any shape you draw
From $87 for 50 units, an outline instead of an edge.

Any Shape Size Paper Die-Cut starts at $87 for 50 units and cuts each piece to the outline you upload, in any size up to 11 by 11 inch, on 32 materials. Pick a Basic or Complex shape, set your finish, choose a speed as fast as next-day, and Wally cuts a stack that never reads as ordinary.
What Is the Difference Between a Basic and a Complex Cut
Both cut to your outline. A Basic Shape suits a simple silhouette with a clean edge: a circle, an oval, an arch, a rounded badge or a shield. A Complex Shape is for intricate outlines with tight curves, inner gaps like the counters of a logo, or more than one closed path, and it costs more for the extra cutting work, so you only pay for detail when the shape needs it.

Any Shape Size Paper Die-Cut: Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see the shape before the run?
Yes. Besides the free online proof, you can order a hardcopy proof printed only, or one die-cut to your exact size, so you hold the real outline before the press run.
Why does my shape need its own cut file?
The cut follows the vector line you send, not the edge of your artwork, so the file decides where the blade goes. A raster image of the shape cannot be cut from.
