What Size Should an Invitation Envelope Be
Pick the size by the card going inside. An A2 at 4.375" x 5.75" suits a 4.25" x 5.5" card or a reply card, an A7 at 5.25" x 7.25" is the classic envelope for a 5" x 7" invitation, and an A10 at 6" x 9.5" holds a larger piece, with A4, A6, A8 and A9 in between. For a square invitation, the 5", 5.5", 6" and 6.5" squares wrap it cleanly instead of forcing a rectangle.
Match the ink to the occasion
