What Are Slim Business Cards

Slim business cards are narrow-format cards printed full color in 3 sizes, a 1.5" x 3.5" Slimmer, a 1.75" x 3.5" Slim, and a 2.125" x 3.375" Euro, on any of 74 stocks. Two of the three keep the familiar 3.5 inch length and shave the height down, so the card reads as a clean strip rather than the usual block. Buyers order them for sales and networking cards, staff cards, loyalty cards, hang tags and inserts for shipped orders. The unexpected cut makes people look twice and keep the card. What Size Should a Slim Business Card Be

Pick the size by how narrow you want the card. The 1.5" x 3.5" Slimmer is the narrowest, a strip for a name, a title and a handle. The 1.75" x 3.5" Slim gives you a touch more room while staying sleek. The 2.125" x 3.375" Euro is closest to a standard footprint in European proportions. Pick a stock that feels like more

A narrow card needs a stiff stock or it bends in a pocket. White linen adds texture, metallic pearl catches the light, synthetic plastic and rigid vinyl take water, and the painted-center stocks run up to 80pt. The default 14pt Gloss Cover keeps the cost down, and a High Gloss UV Coating sharpens a small photo or logo. There is even a 17pt indoor magnet if you want the card to stick.

Put the back to work

Use both sides. Print full color on the front with 4/0 ink and leave the back blank, add a black back with 4/1, or run full color on both sides with 4/4.
